The newly upgraded Cirrascale MBC platform is an innovative, rack mountable adaptation of the company’s award-winning BladeRack 2 X-Series platforms that utilizeVertical Cooling Technology to provide increased flexibility, scalability and versatility while providing the same level of reliability as its flagship blade server platforms.

The next generation rack-optimized MBC platform utilizes an identical blade form factor as those used in Cirrascale’s BladeRack 2 X-Series platforms, giving customers the ability to use the same blades within multiple platforms. Each chassis is equipped to handle up to nine open-architecture blades for compute, storage, high-performance workstations, or intense GPGPU applications. Recent improvements to the architecture help to ease the platforms installation, provide improved handling and serviceability, and enable remote power management.
The next-generation Cirrascale Modular Blade Chassis platform is immediately available and is currently shipping with a variety of built-to-order compute, storage, high-performance workstation, or GPGPU blades.
