MCOPt multicore optimization software to improve system performance
HAMBURG, June 2 -- eXludus Technologies, the leading developer of multicore system optimization software, today announced that the White Rose Grid, based at the University of York, England, has signed an agreement to use eXludus' MCOPt software.
MCOPt software dramatically improves multicore system performance by adding an innovative resource management layer to Linux systems. MCOPt delivers increased job throughput and faster response times, while preventing performance-limiting shared resource conflicts and eliminating cluster/cloud job submission latencies. Tests conducted by the White Rose Grid have shown that overall system throughput is enhanced when running mixed memory workloads -- particularly with respect to large memory jobs when the system is under heavy load.
