Along with a high performance network fabric such as InfiniBand or 10GbE, siCluster incorporates GlusterFS from Gluster, Inc. in its standard configuration. This system enables users to scale siCluster's storage capacity by adding additional storage nodes without compromising performance or reliability. I/O and network performance scale up as more Scalable Informatics storage nodes are added. Capacities scale from several terabytes through hundreds of petabytes.
