For the remainder of the week, I'll be reporting from NVIDIA's GPU Technology Conference in San Jose, Calif. The inaugural event is all about GPU computing (aka GPGPU) and visualization, with a celebration of all things CUDA. The conference picks up some of the same themes of NVIDIA's NVISION event, but with a much heavier emphasis on GPU computing, especially for high performance computing applications.
Speaking of which, there's going to be a rather significant announcement at the conference on Wednesday afternoon that everyone in the HPC community is going to want to know about. NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang is scheduled to spill the beans during his keynote address on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Unless you're fortunate enough to be here in person (the conference is already sold out), you might want to take advantage of the live webcast NVIDIA is providing for his address. Links for all the conference webcasts, as well as NVIDIA's event coverage and a plethora of conference information, can be found at www.nvidia.com/gtc.
Of course, I'll be providing full conference coverage here for HPCwire in a series of remarkably pithy blog posts. Stay tuned.
