Dec. 18 --The SSOKU09 Conference, jointly organised by the projects 3S and CHALLENGERS, will set the foundation for an annual European Summit on Software Services and Service Oriented Knowledge Utilities technologies. More than 200 experts, including high level researchers, top industrial and political representatives from the European Commission and from national authorities, have already registered with the conference and will take part in the interesting discussions of both plenary and parallel sessions organized in the two days of the conference.
These sessions offer the audience an interactive platform to discuss research, business, standards and non-technical challenges in the S&S and grid sector. Sessions have been divided by thematic tracks and they will be followed by a wrap-up where all the issues discussed will be summarized and the main results outlined in view of further discussions as a starting point for further developments.
The discussions and the outcome of this event is of primary significance for the endeavour of CHALLENGERS and 3S to maximize their influence towards the support of policy making as well as to pave the way for future synergies and collaboration in the ICT domain.
