Mellanox Technologies Ltd, a provider of business and technical computing interconnects, announced the appointments of H. Raymond Bingham and Thomas Weatherford to its Board of Directors.
"Both Ray and Thom provide Mellanox with significant financial and operational experience acquired from their direct involvement leading highly successful public companies," said Eyal Waldman, President and CEO of Mellanox Technologies. "Mellanox welcomes its newest members to the board and their guidance will be extremely valuable to help drive the company through its next growth phase."
Mr. Bingham recently served in a number of executive capacities with Cadence Design Systems, Inc., a leading supplier of electronic design automation software and services. Specifically, Mr. Bingham was Executive Chairman at Cadence from May 2004 to July 2005, Director from November 1997 to April 2004, President and Chief Executive Officer from April 1999 to May 2004, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from April 1993 to April 1999. Building on his 30-year career in technology, chemical engineering and hospitality, Mr. Bingham continues to actively serve on the boards of Flextronics International Ltd., Freescale Semiconductor, Inc., KLA Tencor Corporation, and Oracle Corporation.
Mr. Bingham received his Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Economics from Weber State University and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Weatherford retired in January 2003 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the business intelligence software leader, Business Objects S.A., after serving in that position since 1997. With over 35 years experience in global technology, Mr. Weatherford has held senior financial positions at NETCOM On-Line Communication Services, Logitech, Texas Instruments, Schlumberger, and Tandem Computers in the United States, Europe, and Japan. Mr. Weatherford currently serves on the boards of Advanced Analogic Technologies, ILOG S.A., Saba Software, Inc., Synplicity, Inc., Tesco Corporation, and several privately held companies.
