July 23 -- RiverMeadow Software Inc., developer of the world's only automated server migration solution developed specifically for carrier and service provider clouds, today announced that RiverMeadow Cloud Migration SaaS is available through the ArrowSphere cloud services platform. Under terms of the agreement, Arrow will integrate RiverMeadow's Cloud Migration SaaS into the ArrowSphere cloud services portfolio and resell RiverMeadow to its Cloud Service Provider channel as a standalone service or bundled with other cloud services.
"RiverMeadow's Cloud Migration SaaS provides an easy and cost-effective cloud migration solution," said Jim Livingston, Vice President of services for Arrow's enterprise computing solutions business in North America. "Adding RiverMeadow to our solutions portfolio strengthens our leading position in the cloud market and provides our solution provider community with a tool to automate the migration of applications into the cloud."
The convergence of technology and the increased competition in the marketplace among resellers and vendors alike are creating demand for intensified support from a distributor. As a leading value-added distributor, Arrow provides a channel management approach based on three components: channel development, market development and services.
The ArrowSphere cloud services platform centralizes the billing and provisioning of a rapidly growing array of leading-edge cloud services delivering storage and servers on demand, security-as-a-service, software-as-a-service and unified communications. Solution providers can sell the services via white-label webstores they create and manage through the platform, thereby maximizing their sales and marketing activities.
"Arrow offers a dynamic opportunity that enables resellers, integrators and ISVs to provide comprehensive computing solutions and deliver great value to midmarket and enterprise customers," said Mark Shirman, President and CEO, RiverMeadow Software. "The ArrowSphere cloud services platform gives Arrow's reseller partner's access to our RiverMeadow Cloud Migration SaaS and makes for a world-class combination capable of migrating the broadest range of servers quickly, and for a fraction of the cost, of other options."
RiverMeadow Cloud Migration SaaS is a rapid cloud migration solution developed specifically for Carrier and Service Provider Cloud IaaS platforms. Without agents or the need to quiesce servers until final cut-over, RiverMeadow dramatically reduces the cost and complexity of cloud migration, enabling Carriers and Service Providers to quickly, easily and cost-efficiently deliver the benefits of cloud computing to enterprise and SMB customers.
