May 22 -- intY CASCADE today marks a significant step in its global expansion plan, announcing that leading US multi-channel technology retailer TigerDirect (a subsidiary of Fortune 1000 company Systemax) has joined the CASCADE cloud eco-system. TigerDirect now gains immediate access to multi-vendor cloud-based applications, products and services to rapidly take a new SaaS portfolio to market and meet the increasing demand and market opportunity for cloud-based services.
The intY CASCADE cloud aggregator model enables TigerDirect to break into the cloud services market, without the operational and management overheads associated with introducing new services. The company will be deploying a range of products from CASCADE, including Microsoft Office 365 and Symantec.cloud, to end user organizations across the continent.
"Cloud services are an increasingly important segment of business needs. Organizations are able to have reduced IT investments while maintaining world-class services for their company and clients," said Mike Craig, Executive Vice-President of Business Sales at TigerDirect. "Enabling our sales force to efficiently deploy solutions for our customers through intY CASCADE further extends our offerings portfolio."
intY CASCADE is now enabling over 70 partners across North America, Europe, and the Middle East to build and deliver 'drag and drop' service bundles to end-user customers. This demonstrates a major turning point in intY CASCADE'S own evolution as Chris Baldock, CEO of intY CASCADE, explains:
"Not only is a world-leading services organization in the US using our technology, enabling it to enter into the SaaS space, this is a momentous turning point in terms of our own growth globally. Via our combined strengths, TigerDirect and intY CASCADE will leverage the operational and commercial requirements for cloud services in North America, enabling thousands of customers to confidently and simply adopt tailored cloud services from a trusted partner."
