TEL AVIV, Israel, March 19 — IncrediBuild now offers IncrediBuild for Sony Computer Entertainment’s PlayStation 4, a code build acceleration solution that allows developers to get to market much faster with their new PlayStation 4 games.
With more than 2,000 customers including Disney, Ubisoft, Microsoft and Electronic Arts, IncrediBuild has become the de facto standard in code build acceleration.
“Interactive game consoles are an ever-expanding market, and game development companies are aggressively competing to meet and exceed consumer demands for more dynamic, realistic, and interactive games,” said Eyal Maor, IncrediBuild CEO. “IncrediBuild maximizes their efforts by accelerating their code builds by up to 90%.”
IncrediBuild is working closely with Sony Computer Entertainment to support the new development package for the next-generation console.
Used in parallel with IncrediBuild for PlayStation 4, IncrediBuild for Dev Tools dramatically shortens overall development time by accelerating the other aspects of game creation, such as rendering, shading, compression, file conversion, code analysis and QA scripts. By accelerating the overall ALM cycle, IncrediBuild technology reduces development costs while speeding time to market.
“The reality of game development is that it occurs in bursts of creativity followed by the tedium of ‘hurry up and wait’ while the code compiles,” continued Maor. “IncrediBuild works behind the scenes to eliminate boredom and increase productivity.”
IncrediBuild is a leading solution provider of software acceleration technology. By harnessing unutilized processing power in private and public cloud environments, IncrediBuild accelerates Windows-based computational software with easy deployment and migration. With its unique process virtualization technology, IncrediBuild has become the de facto standard solution for code-build acceleration on the Windows platform. More than 100,000 users at over 2,000 companies and organizations depend on IncrediBuild application and build acceleration, including 20 Fortune 100 companies.
