LAS VEGAS, Nev., Feb. 27 — ProfitBricks, the infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) company that completely reengineered the delivery of cloud computing, today announced the expansion of its Channel Partner Program with the debut of its competitively featured Reseller Program. Boasting a simple pricing model, ProfitBricks makes it easier than ever to sell advanced cloud computing infrastructure through the channel. Last month ProfitBricks rolled out the industry's most lucrative referral program and today incentivizes resellers with generous discounts for next-generation cloud computing services. ProfitBricks unveiled the program to more than 3,000 channel partners today at the Channel Partners Conference and Expo.
The ProfitBricks Reseller Program is aimed at managed service providers (MSPs), value added resellers (VARs), IT consultants, system integrators, and independent software vendors (ISVs) looking for recurring revenue streams with the most advanced and simply priced cloud computing IaaS offering available today.
"We joined the ProfitBricks Referral Partner Program a few months ago and since then we continue to grow our cloud business," said Steve Oono, vice president of sales at Mojo Systems. "Adding the reseller option enables Mojo Systems to continue to grow our professional services cloud-based recurring revenue."
Easiest to Price, Simple Billing
Qualified reseller partners can receive up to a 25 percent discount on ProfitBricks' next-generation cloud computing services, depending on the reseller's monthly recurring revenue (MRR) of ProfitBricks IaaS services. Reseller partners directly establish and maintain relationships with their customers; including billing, customer support, sales and account provisioning.
Typically, cloud computing pricing models are astonishingly confusing and complex, adding a layer of complication for channel sales. ProfitBricks' simple pricing model makes it easy for reseller partners to price services and bill customers. Additionally, ProfitBricks is the first cloud computing service that offers an easy-to-use, drag-and-drop graphical user interface — simplifying the setup and maintenance of cloud environments for resellers.
Additional benefits include:
"ProfitBricks is determined to simplify the way cloud computing is sold through the channel," said ProfitBricks USA CEO Bob Rizika. "Our clear pricing model and data center design tool make channel sales less complicated and potentially more lucrative for reseller partners. Customers want greater speed and higher flexibility in their infrastructure, and we can help resellers meet this growth opportunity."
Unmatched Cloud Computing Performance
A test conducted by Cloud Spectator showed that ProfitBricks outperformed both Amazon EC2 with 227 percent greater UnixBench score and the Rackspace Cloud with 194 percent faster I/O. ProfitBricks consistently ranks as the top price-performance leader in the cloud computing space.
ProfitBricks — Cloud Computing 2.0 — is the cloud infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) company offering more speed and flexibility than any other cloud provider. Founded in 2010 by the previous co-founders of 1&1 AG, ProfitBricks has built the world's first, true virtual datacenter, enabling users custom defined instances with live vertical scaling and class-leading double redundant cloud storage — all with simple and transparent minute-based billing. It also developed the first graphical Data Center Designer that makes the ProfitBricks Cloud Computing service the easiest to setup and maintain. CRN Magazine recently picked ProfitBricks as the "Coolest Startup" of 2012.
