MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, Oct. 31 – Nimbula, the cloud operating system company, today announced that current customer Yandex, Russia's leading internet company, will present its use case in the session "Design & Implementation of a Private Cloud IaaS at Yandex, Using Nimbula Director" at the Sys-Con Cloud Expo event taking place November 5-8 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
In this session, Vlad Seliverstov, chief of advertising services operation, will explain how Yandex uses Nimbula Director to run a private cloud for development and testing of new applications. Seliverstov will cover the technical problems Yandex faced and addressed when designing and implementing their private cloud. The presentation will also discuss how leveraging Nimbula Directors' self-service and API driven functionality reduced the time for developers to gain access to required environments from days to minutes.
