1st Light Energy Adopts Rootstock Software on Platform

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 18 — Rootstock Software, the leader in cloud manufacturing and supply chain applications, today announced that 1st Light Energy, a leading provider of solar energy solutions, has selected Rootstock to manage its distribution and supply chain needs on the platform. 1st Light Energy is a leading installer and integrator in the rapidly expanding solar industry and the company's on-premise IT infrastructure and legacy applications could not keep pace with the operating demands of serving its growing customer base. Currently a Sales Cloud (CRM) user, it was critical that the company adopt a native app to manage material and labor expenses without adding complexity to its business processes.
