Sept. 14 — Netlist, Inc. a leading provider of high performance memory solutions for the cloud computing market, will vigorously defend itself against a complaint filed by SMART Modular Technologies, Inc. in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California relating to U.S. Patent No. 8,250,295. Netlist believes that the complaint has no merit. "As a leader in the field, we have a portfolio of over 60 patents and pending applications directed to innovative technologies embedded in our products. None of our current products, including HyperCloud, infringe upon this recently issued '295 patent," said Netlist President and CEO, C.K. Hong.
