NEW YORK, Sept. 13 — Fusion Telecommunications International, Inc. today announced a strategic agreement with Unisys on the marketing of a fully integrated suite of secure network and cloud services, with an emphasis on leading-edge Unisys security solutions. Fusion will offer Unisys solutions to enterprises in the U.S., with a strong initial focus on healthcare through its exclusive agreement to provide communications and cloud services to the members of a leading, nation-wide group purchasing organization.
Initially, Fusion will focus on the Unisys Stealth Solution Suite of cybersecurity software to help organizations address the growing challenge of cybersecurity attacks and hacker incidents. The NSA-certified solutions use patented pending security techniques designed to cloak data communication end points, such as end user devices, data center servers and applications, to become obscured on the network and therefore concealed as targets for hackers.
Unisys Stealth applies military-grade encryption and a unique "bit-splitting" technology that separates data into multiple packets as it moves through the network and to storage devices, and then authenticates and reassembles the information packets for delivery exclusively to authorized users.
A staggering 23 million records were exposed to data breaches in 2011*, compromising privacy and undermining customer confidence while costing enterprises millions in operating costs. The Unisys Stealth solutions are intended to help enterprises avoid such attacks.
In addition to protecting organizations against skyrocketing costs associated with data breaches, Stealth can help healthcare systems and other enterprises save capital and operating expenses by simplifying network infrastructure. By providing healthcare organizations with greater assurance that the Stealth solution is designed to protect their data, it can ease their path toward cloud computing. Unisys can also facilitate regulatory compliance, enabling the enforcement of HIPAA rules for data encryption in healthcare.
