In a presentation given by SENATH's Director Kanchana Wickremasinghe, the partnership between OrionVM and SENATH was announced. "We are delighted to have partnered with OrionVM to deliver DURGA to Australian businesses. The use of an Australian cloud provider has allowed us to deliver extremely responsive applications with much lower latency than our competitors. This is key for many of customers and is very important to us."
OrionVM Managing Director Sheng Yeo was also present at the event to unveil this partnership. "We are incredibly excited to be working in close collaboration with SENATH on the DURGA Platform. We believe that with the release of the Durga platform, the leadership position within the largely misunderstood PaaS category of Cloud Computing is absolutely within the grasp of this highly innovative company. We are very proud to have established this great strategic partnership with DURGA and together we will continue to innovate and deliver groundbreaking solutions for business globally."
The NBNCo Discovery Centre was selected to host this event as the NBN will provide broadband connectivity to 100% of the Australian premises. Broadband connectivity is critical to the delivery of cloud platforms such as DURGA and OrionVM.
