Analyst firm names DynamicOps "Company to Watch" in cloud management
BURLINGTON, Mass., March 12 — DynamicOps, pioneer of the Operations Virtualization platform that enables unified cloud automation and management, today announced that three key solution providers and consulting firms in the United Kingdom and Asia Pacific have joined its fast-growing global partner program. The program, launched in November 2011, focuses on partners intent on capitalizing on the growing interest in private cloud computing and the award-winning DynamicOps Cloud Suite.
DynamicOps also revealed that IDC named it a "company to watch" in cloud systems management software. IDC's newly published "DynamicOps Private Vendor Watchlist Profile: Extending Beyond Cloud Management Automation(1)," by Mary Johnston Turner, IDC Research Vice President, notes that "IDC believes DynamicOps is a company to watch because the company's extensible management platform has gained early traction with more than 90 enterprise-class customers… and its platform is architected to automate a range of server and desktop provisioning and configuration management workflows. The firm has been winning beachhead accounts among major financial services companies… and recently started to develop channel partner relationships with sophisticated systems integrators and outsourcers."
DynamicOps' newest strategic partners all boast a strong market presence and a high level of technology expertise. They include: Excelian, a solutions provider that offers services and technologies for the capital markets and commodities space; Microland, a service provider specializing in cloud infrastructure services; and Logicent Solutions, a consulting partner with expertise in maximizing operational efficiencies and user experience through private cloud and virtualization.
"We're seeing great demand around the world for solutions that allow enterprises to quickly and cost-effectively deploy and benefit from cloud computing," said Randy Streu, vice president of business development at DynamicOps. "Excelian, Microland and Logicent are at the forefront of addressing private and public cloud computing needs. We're pleased that they chose DynamicOps as their foundational cloud offering, and that such a prestigious firm as IDC validates the value we bring to the market."
