NEW ORLEANS, November 16, 2010 -- SC10 -- Voltaire Ltd., a leading provider of scale-out datacenter fabrics, today announced that it is collaborating with Emulex to deliver end-to-end 10GbE solutions to customers. The two companies have completed interoperability testing and cross-certification of Voltaire Vantage 10GbE switches and software and Emulex OneConnect Universal Converged Network Adapters (UCNAs). The joint solution will be featured in a live demonstration at SC10 in New Orleans this week.
The demonstration held in Voltaire booth 3139 highlights Voltaire's Unified Fabric Manager (UFM) software orchestrating end-to-end virtual machine connectivity for multi-vendor scale-out datacenter fabrics.
"Voltaire and Emulex are well-aligned and positioned as 10GbE adoption in the datacenter heats up," said Asaf Somekh, vice president of marketing at Voltaire. "Voltaire's 10GbE switches and Emulex OneConnect 10GbE UCNA solutions are both carried by HP and IBM creating an easy path to deployment by our mutual customers."
