HPCwire Announces Annual Readers' and Editors' Choice Awards

24 organizations honored for high productivity computing technology leadership

RENO, Nev., Nov. 12 -- HPCwire, the leading source for global news and information covering the ecosystem of high productivity computing, revealed the winners of HPCwire's annual Readers' and Editors' Choice Awards at the 2007 International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC07) in Reno, Nev.

HPCwire has designated two categories of Awards: (1) Readers' Choice, where winners have been determined by a poll of HPCwire readers, and (2) Editors' Choice, where winners have been determined by votes of a panel of recognized HPC luminaries, contributing editors from the global HPC ecosystem, and HPCwire's editors. These awards are widely recognized within the global HPC community and are among the most prestigious awards given to both vendors and user organizations.

"Each year, HPCwire and its readers recognize the tremendous amount of innovation happening in the HPC industry as both individual and collaborative efforts push the boundaries of what's possible," said Diane Lieberman, publisher of HPCwire. "It's our great pleasure to take time each year to offer recognition to the leaders and luminaries in this industry. The community spirit that these awards represent is notable, as we look to our readers, our editors, and industry leaders to make the determination on who is deserving of recognition for the year. The response this year has been tremendous, with a record amount of votes being cast. We are excited to reveal the winners of these prestigious and highly anticipated awards."
